Well, all good things must come to an end...
Seinfeld...
my iTunes gift card...
McDreamy and Meredith...
Gabriella's run as a wholesome role model...
my undefeated season in NCAA college football on Playstation2...
and of course my reign as "keeper of the blog" for the last 7 days.
It has been quite an eye opener to be a stay at home daddy. I have a much better understanding of how a mother's day is never really done. I know now why Janet stays up so late even though she must be exhausted. It's the only time when the day is truly her own.
My days at Camp Buz (as are all of your days) consisted of a series of preparing for the next activity:
next meal
next show...
next lost toy...
next nap...
next diaper...
next snack...
next juice box...
next runny nose...
next mosquito bite...
next bug spray...
next missing sippy cup...
next car seat buckle...
next bath...
next story...
next tuck in...
next trip to the bathroom...
next final warning...
AAARRRGGGHHH
It takes a special person to have the optimism, patience, creativity, stamina, and grace to wake up every morning and repeat the same series of events with little reward or recognition. I tip my hat to all of the moms out there.
Because even after all of this, you keep something in reserve for your husbands when they come home at night and find a way to make them feel special.
AND...
I finally understand why there are times when you all are "just not in the mood" after such a long day with the kids...
(not really, but it sounded good huh?)

Kudos to you for taking care of business while Janet was gone. And for recognizing and validating what a hard job we Moms have!
yes it did sound good - even if you were just joking;0
That was lovely! It's nice to know that there are hubbies like you and my sweet J that "get it". :0)
I'm his Mom. So proud.
