to help me get over the hump

my buddy, bitsy (aka "biscuit" around our house) decided i needed a pick-me-up from the recent trauma, otherwise known as the weather change. so she bought me these:

she found them on sale for $24.83. TWENTY-FOUR DOLLARS.

i couldn't be more tickled. my spirits have been lifted. now, don't go thinking that i am pumped about having to sweat profusely and always wear my hair curly because drying it is pointless, among other unpleasantries that "summer" here in north texas brings. but if i can do it a little bit cuter, i am better off.

thanks, biscuit.

Okay, I've been a lazy commenter (bad hypothetical friend! bad!) but am devoting myself to catching up. Starting with THESE SHOES! I'm afraid the cute picture doesn't entirely suffice. Name, model, store locations?

Or are they so cool that you're planning to keep them all to yourself? Hmmm? Well, then just whisper it to me... I won't tell a soul. Honest.

Yes - you MUST share the where abouts of these precious Keen's!!! I love them! You may not think it's possible but I am jealous that I cannot wear shoes like this for some time way up north! Love you - regardless of the season!

ok, franklin. here you go. but don't tell anyone.
brand -- keen
model -- seattle
store -- rei but sorry to say that the sale is no longer running. i know...sad. because don't think i wouldn't have called you to ask your size as well as buy "kelly from montana" a pair.

OK I even love them.!!!!!!!!!! Red mary janes (to match Henry's boots) and they have tire treads on the bottom, I guess if you want to run on ice or climb a mountain? Is the rubber toe thing to save your toes after you slid on the ice and ran into a tree?
Love you, Me Plus, how sweet of Bitsy. (Hi Bitsy)

oh janet. i so sympathize with your spring saddness. actually, if dallas had a spring and didn't sail right on into summer, we both might not feel so blue. i had no idea there was anyone else out there to commiscerate with. let's go ice skating once it gets really, really hot. maybe even every other week. ahhh., i feel better just thinking about it.

p.s. so diggin the shoes.
